Departure for a panoramic bus tour to the most famous attractions of the city, the “wonder of Rio”. It begins at Christ, which is located at a height of 710 meters and is one of the most visited tourist spots in the city. From the summit the view is heavenly. From there you can see the various beaches, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the famous Maracaná stadium , the city center, among other places. The climb to the monument of Christ is done by train (inaugurated by Emperor D. Pedro II in 1884). This is an ecological tour, since it is part of the Tijuca Forest National Park , considered the largest urban forest in the world. On the tour you will also visit the city center, with a stop for lunch. Then we will continue to the Sugar Loaf, which with its 396 meters high, offers an incredible view of the sunset in Guanábana Bay, the beaches of Botafogo , Flamengo and Copacabana, Niterói and among other places. Return to the hotel.
*The itinerary may change due to bad weather or traffic in the city . Duration 9 hours.
Early in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotels in Florianópolis and we will go to the central point from where the excursion to two of the most curious and interesting towns in Brazil will depart . After two hours traveling along the Brazilian coast, we will enter the state of Santa Catarina to reach our first destination, Blumenau .
Once there, we will walk along the banks of the Itajaí-Açú River while admiring the architecture of this place, which will transport us directly to that of any typical small town in Germany . This is due to the nostalgia of the German settlers who populated this region and wanted to bring the traditions and customs of their homeland to Brazil.
Later we will visit the Beer Garden , very similar to the typical German biergarten , the Blumenau City Hall and the Metropolitan Cathedral , as well as the Germanic Villa where German culture is felt in every corner. It will be in this place where we will stop for lunch (food not included): you can enjoy both Brazilian cuisine and typical German food if you prefer.
Immediately afterwards we will go to the nearby town of Pomerode , known as the most German city in Brazil for the same reason as the previous one. However, this is where the largest number of constructions typical of northern Germany are concentrated.
We will visit the most emblematic buildings of this type of architecture, as well as the Tourist Portal , the Schmidt Porcelain Factory , the Zoo or the Enchanted Villa . In addition, you will have free time to visit (optionally) a craft brewery in Pomerode and enjoy a great beer tasting.
After finishing our tour of Pomerode , we will return to Florianópolis, where we will accompany you to your hotel.
