Itinerary

Embark on an exciting adventure exploring Lake Titicaca on our 3-day tour. We'll start by picking you up from your hotel in Puno to head to the city's pier. From there, we'll sail to the famous Uros Floating Islands, where you'll get to know the fascinating culture of its inhabitants. Then, we'll continue to Amantaní Island, where you'll be greeted with a warm welcome by the locals and enjoy a delicious countryside lunch. In the afternoon, we'll ascend to the highest point of the island, Pacha Tata, to witness a stunning sunset over the lake. The experience will culminate with a traditional dinner and a lively folk show before spending the night with a local family.

Upon arrival at the Uros Floating Islands, we will be greeted by local inhabitants dressed in traditional costumes, who will warmly welcome us. As we explore the island, we will notice how the structures float on the water, and our guide will provide us with detailed explanations on how these islands were formed and how their inhabitants live. We will have time to take photographs and visit the homes of the locals.

Subsequently, an option to visit a second island on totora reed boats will be offered, where we can sample local dishes or purchase handicrafts. Afterwards, we will continue our journey across Lake Titicaca for approximately three hours until we reach the natural island of Amantani, where we will be welcomed by local residents. We will head to their homes to settle in and share a family lunch, an opportunity to learn more about their way of life on the island.

In the afternoon, we will ascend to the Pachatata and Pachamama temples to enjoy a panoramic view of the sunset over Lake Titicaca. Later, we will return to the main square where each family awaits us for dinner together and to participate in a traditional music and dance show. We will spend the night on the island.

Wake up to the breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca and enjoy a delicious breakfast before embarking on the journey to Taquile Island. Once there, you'll be greeted with another warm welcome and have the opportunity to explore Taquile's Main Square and learn about the local culture and traditional textiles. After a countryside lunch, we'll return to the main pier of the island to board our journey back to Puno. Enjoy the last views of the lake as you return to the city.

We will enjoy a traditional lunch, which will include quinoa soup and fresh trout, accompanied by coca or muña tea to help combat altitude sickness. During lunch, our guide will provide information about the island's history, the clothing of its inhabitants, and their main economic activities.

After lunch, we will have free time to explore the island, take photographs, and enjoy panoramic views of Lake Titicaca. Later, we will descend to the port to board the boat back to Puno.

At approximately 03:30pm, we will arrive at the port of Puno and transfer back to downtown, where our service will conclude.

On the last day of our tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puno to head to the impressive archaeological complex of Sillustani. There, you'll explore the fascinating funerary structures known as "Chullpas" and learn about the ancient civilization that built them. After the visit, we'll return to the city center of Puno, thus concluding an unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca.
