Adventurer Tarapoto - 4 Days / 3 Nights
Description
This four-day tour in and around Tarapoto offers an immersive experience in nature and local culture. The first day includes arrival in Tarapoto, followed by a tour of Lamas, where you will visit the Plaza de Armas, a natural viewpoint, a castle and the native Huayco neighborhood. On the second day, enjoy the beauty of the Blue Lagoon with a boat ride, tasting of exotic drinks and recreational activities. The third day takes you to Alto Mayo, with visits to Moyobamba and Rioja, including an orchid garden, the source of the TioYacu River and hot springs. Finally, the fourth day culminates with a visit to the impressive Ahuashiyacu Waterfalls, with opportunities to relax and take pictures.
Itinerary
Arrival in the city of Tarapoto, pick up from the airport and transfer to your chosen hotel.
NATIVE LAMAS
- Departure from 3:00 - 3:30 pm.
- Arriving in Lamas we make a stop at the Plaza de Armas, where our guide will be telling you the history of the city.
- Visit to the natural viewpoint where we can observe the entire city, the vegetation and where we can buy crafts.
- Visit to the castle we will visit each floor of the castle with the proper explanation for greater knowledge of its creation.
- Visit to the Huayco neighborhood (natives) the natives will tell us their customs and teach us their dances, where we will all participate.
- Arrival in Tarapoto, 7:00 to 7:30 pm approx.
NOT INCLUDED: entrance to the museum since entry is optional.
Departure 8:30 – 9:00 am we leave for the Sauce District (Laguna Azul).
- Stop at the Punta del Gallinazo viewpoint, where you can see the wonderful Huallaga River.
- Arrival at the blue lagoon, then the boat ride where we will take the tour of the entire lagoon where the guide will be telling you the myths and legends of the area.
- We stop to take photos at the mermaid seat.
- Tasting of exotic and/or aphrodisiac drinks.
- Visit to the tourist recreation. Bathing, lunch and recreational activities.
- Arrival in Tarapoto, 6:00 to 7:00 pm approx.
- Departure 7:30 – 8:00 am towards Alto Mayo
- Visit to the Plaza de Armas of Moyobamba.
- Visit to the Moyobamba Orchid Garden .
- Visit to “Chacra Vieja”, where you can visit a museum with antiques, and taste different exotic regional drinks such as: Siete Roots, Chuchuhuasi , etc.
- Visit to the source of the TioYacu . Beautiful River that runs through the city of Rioja, with crystal clear water where you can enjoy bathing and take excellent photographs.
- Visit the San Mateo HOT SPRINGS, with hot and cold waters good for health where you can enjoy the place.
- Typical lunch in a tourist restaurant.
- Arrival in Tarapoto, 8:00 to 9:00 pm approx.
- Departure 10:00 – 10:30 am we leave for the Ahuashiyacu Falls .
- We make a stop at the ecological viewpoint, where we can observe the beautiful fall of the falls and take beautiful photographs. 10-minute walk in the middle of the jungle to reach the foot of the waterfall. Bathing, relaxing, taking photos. Then we can make handicraft purchases. Arrival in Tarapoto: 1:00 pm approx.
